Weathered

This was down the street from the New York Stock Exchange.  A bit harder to navigate up the street when the tourist traffic gets thicker.  I wonder what his mission was?

No, this was not posed in any way.

Runway

I was struck by her seriousness and zoned in on her.  She knows how to pose.  I kind of like the guy sitting on the fence too.

Monk Shopping

I was passing by the Century 21 department store and saw a bus pull up.  It was full of monks.  They assembled in a very orderly fashion and headed into the store.

Twister

I spotted them first from the rear as they sat in the crowd at Bryant Park.  A bit like they were playing Twister.  She seems pretty cool considering what she has on her lap.

Left Handed Compliment

Took a little bit to come up with a title for this picture.  They were talking so animatedly with their hands.  And, the matching green was interesting.  Her reaction and matching of the hand position though, and the title, make me laugh.

Downsizing

I liked that their two hats were nicely aligned in the opening to the truck.  I needed to look closely and crop quite a bit to draw out the activity of the refilling of the condiments.

Contemplating Fruit

It was mentioned that if I cropped this picture, it would look like a painting.  I'm not much of a still-life fan, and I think I like the rhythm of the bicycles sitting to the left.  But, I could go either way on that.

Wrapping Up

That just doesn't look like it would be comfortable to me.

Cannonball

So, I was up at the Military Academy at West Point for a ceremony and I just happened to see this baseball at the tip of a cannon.  When I left the building about an hour ago, the ball was gone.

Pucker Up

I was actually focused on the guy behind with his perfect hair.  And, how do you get all those little triangles so perfectly aligned on the handkerchief.  Is it some sort of origami?

The girl in the front just happened to be there.

Vertical Tourism

Being a jaded New Yorker, I had no interest as to what these two were so fascinated with.  But the fascination itself was interesting.  Now, as I review the shot in retrospect, I am a bit puzzled as there is really nothing up in this direction.  Maybe some building tips, or a plane and the sky, but nothing that should inspire such a keen interest from these tourists.  Of course, since I didn't look, I don't know that for a fact.  But, I'll be damned if I'll look up just because some tourists are looking up.

Special Delivery

Always pays to have your camera out and properly adjusted for a quick shot.  This was a 2 second opportunity as they whooshed past.
