Full Bodied Work

This wall is a natural canvas, I am amazed that someone actually was able to execute this vision and provide the art.

Tour Groups

Mobs of people block the paths of everyday New Yorkers as they slowly move like amoebas through the streets.  They stop and listen to their guides and learn more about the history of the city than those who inhabit it daily.

Trapeze

"He'd fly through the air with the greatest of ease, That daring young man on the flying trapeze. His movements were graceful, all girls he could please And my love he purloined away."

You want all the lyrics?  Here they are.  I didn't realize how dramatic the tale was.

Pointillism

The fence alone the river separates the escalade from the parking lots.  But, you can still see through and picture the world beyond.  It creates a dotted surrealism like a comic book or the pointillism of Seurat.

Welcome to Pope Francis

So, the Pope was in town, and some people were extra decked out to greet him, although I don't believe Pope Francis made the trip to the Wall Street area.

He was totally comfortable in his hat at his peered out across the street, looking uptown.  I do like the perspective from this corner.

The Fortune Teller

In the southwest corner of Union Square Park, near the purple plants, can be found the woman also in purple.  She knows all the secrets... yours and those that are not yours.  She will reveal them to you with the aid of a crystal ball.  As she leans towards you, she will stare into your soul and reveal the details that you need to know the answers to.  The purple reveals, the purple reveals.

The summer isn't exactly the best time to be standing around in a hot costume.

Why a Chair?

This walkway that passes the abandoned Fulton Fish Market is generally only occupied by strollers and bicycles.  On this day though, there was an unexplained chair plucked down on the path.  Why?  How?  When?

Transom

I wonder how many people just walk by this doorway without noticing the elegant transom that is just up out of a person's level view.
