Big Flakes

It was one of those rare days where the snow comes down in big fat flakes.  Slowly, gently drifting down to earth, not cold, just the winter atmosphere.  Waiting by the commuter PATH train station, I enjoyed the feel, and then this couple came together.

As many people can identify, this is the Federal Reserve building which has been a background in many of my photographs.  Down the hill goes from west to east, declining as you go.

As a Taurus the bull, I am attracted to red objects.  I followed this red umbrella for a block and then watched its descent.

A View from the Bridge

This bridge crosses the highway that leads to the tunnel to Brooklyn.  If you are going to sit and look across, why not sit in the very center to see a perfectly symmetrical view over to the backs of the buildings with the Hudson River view.

The convergence of the buildings makes it look like there is no street runs through, but it winds subtlely all the way to the river.

Fido Rubbers

I believe a somewhat deep puddle might overwhelm the feet of this rubber-clad doggie.  I'm thinking about the effort to get the little booties onto his feet.   Or maybe its such a regular thing that he is well tamed to be rubber-fitted.  Maybe he knows how cold the icy outside can be, and he welcomes the little footware.  Maybe.
